Feeling stuck in your creative journey and want to try something new? Look no further!

Mixed media art is known for its diverse use of materials, layering and texturing techniques, and the freedom it allows artists to experiment and explore different combinations of media. Assemblages, collages, and sculpture are three common examples of art using different media. Materials used to create mixed media art include, but are not limited to, Paint, paper, fabric, found objects. 

In my class we will be using many of these techniques and supplies to create a unique piece of art!

You will leave with a 12 x 12 mixed media piece of art!

At this workshop we will create a one of a kind unique piece of art on canvas.  This class is meant to discover the world of Mixed Media Art in a simple but fun way. 

We will start by layering the background of the canvas and then choosing from all my supplies provided, You will be using paint, papers, inks, stamps, and other elements but it is up to you to choose and design what you want, guided with simple instruction by me!

This class will be approximately 2 1/2 hours 

When creating my art , I work in stages, starting with the background and building up from there. I am usually working on many paintings at once and usually come back to them later. There is lots of drying time between layers.   With this workshop we will do a smaller version of this in this class.  (I use fans to increase drying time.)

*Cancellation policy:  If you need to cancel Please let me know as soon as possible so I can fill your spot. I will refund you if you let me know 24 hours ahead. After the money can be used for a future class.

*Not handicap accessible, you will be going downstairs into my studio.
